iPhone 4 wont charge after replacing charge port

So as the title says I have this white Iphone 4 that refuses to take a charge. Originally it wouldn't take a charge, but would detect power, and connect to a pc. So after some searching it I found it to be a bad charge port. When the part comes in I install it only to find it still wont take a charge but does detect the power and can be seen by a computer.

I have already tried the battery in a different iphone and it was able to charge that way. I'm thinking it's something on the logic board that is bad.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It sounds to us like a faulty motherboard component on your iPhone 4S. Your logic and sequence of repairing the iPhone is spot-on. If the charging port or the battery are not the issue, then it leads me to believe that the motherboard has a faulty component.

In our repair shop, we use the same repair flowchart (sequence) when we get a unit in with similar problems.

My Samsung GT-S3850 won't open when turned on. It keeps on showing its model info and the intro display; later it advises that the time and date needs to be reset after changing the battery. And the same notice keeps going on and on.

What could be the possible problem and how can it be solved.
