Can I replace my monochrome(4G) display with a color (Photo) version?

History

Is it possible to replace the monochrome display from my iPod 4G for a color version from the Photo? And will it work in color or do I need another Logic Board as well?

Unfortunately, you would need another logic board as well. Apple moved the connector for the display, making a direct switch impossible.
