Changing of flash memory

Hi do you have any tutorial on changing the flash memory for nexus 7?

Tan Yong He, the memory is a BGA IC and soldered to the logic board. You can only change it if you have a reball setup, the right stencil and the right memory. Here is the information on the memory.

The chip is the Kingston KE44B-26BN/8GB 8GB flash

However, if this chip is changed will this brick the device? I.e. is the OS stored on the (removed) flash chip, or is this flash just for user files storage?
