No graphic showing in phone 1st

hey guy;
My Iphone 1 generation no graphic in display after I try to take out everything from inside to clean up the display because have some water go inside . after I put back anything than no graphic showing . Is it broken by display monitor or ribbon cable? It have good connection with PC and I can get anything from Iphone but no graphic.
brianao, double check your work. Make sure that you connected all ribbon cables. Also, how did you clean it? What was the water damage.? It is possible that it's your LCD from working on it, but it is also possible that your backlight coil that has failed from the water damage.
