do I need to clean my PS3 vfan
dear all,
i am having this console since 2009 now its working fine, and i am using it with extra caution i had no issue with it at all but recently the system started to freeze sometime when i play battlefield 3 online, its happened some time not all the time, my question is do i need to open my PS3 clean it the freezing thing is not bothering me now but do i need to clean it now.
please not that my PS3 didn't opened before

Usually the PS3 freezing is related to the laser or hard drive problem but the majority is a laser problem. Depending on what model of PS3 you have, you will have to purchase a KES-400A or KES-410 Laser. You can buy them on Ebay with the KES-410 laser being a lot cheaper. They are highly sensitive to static so please be careful or you can damage them. Replacement is medium difficulty and you will be required to have a T-8 security bit on hand to open the case. Everything else inside is a philips head.
