Don if the 2 TB is what you need you can install two 1 TB drives with this kit.

Don - Don't know of a WD 2TB drive, can you supply a link about it.

What I can tell you is you need to use a 2.5" drive and you do have some head room issues (depending on the model), As your asking about the new '12 model iFixIt or anyone else has not opened one up yet so we just don't know whats inside for space and connections.

If Apple followed the last version two 9.5mm hight drives will fit. Wester Digital and heres the iFixIt guide on replacing the '11 model iFixIt Guide '11 model

It will fit. I have it in my 2011 Mac Mini next to an OCZ 256GB SSD.

The only way to get them to both fit is to remove the back plastic case/cover from the SSD and don't fix/screw the 2TB drive to the mounting frame.

Just don't ship the system or move it about to much as your likely to damage something as you have nothing anchored.

Dan,

Agreed, but it is wedged in tight and I added foam/rubber pads to fill the 1.5mm gap. Should help limit/stop movement. Ideally someone should make an HD caddy/frame with the HD screw mount holes in different positions.
