"GSM" noise from speaker
This question is archived. No new answers are allowed, and only the question's owner may edit it.
Hello all,
My girlfriends iPhone4 has always made a "GSM-noise" from the bottom speaker unit during calls.
By "GSM-noise" i mean the anoying noise that comes when you hold a mobilephone close to a speaker or headphones.
Lately the sound is getting louder and louder.
And now its so loud that you can here it while holding the phone an arms distance from you ear.
When talking, its feels like the noise is also coming from the "ear-speaker" but i think that is noise from the bottom speaker traveling through the phone.
Is this a faulty speaker-unit - and will a replacement speaker solve the problem - or is the fault in the mainboard or antenna unit?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
/Søren

UPDATE: After cleaning the connector and the inside of the audiojack with alcohol 96% - the noise is almost gone. I will try cleaning even better an see if that can remove the last buzz. Weeeee :-)
