How to reconnect a zif connector for trackpad?

History

Hello everyone,

I just open my macbookair to clean the keyboard (i spill some coffee on it :/).

The only problem is that i dont know if the connector is connect in a good manner. I try to push it and it seem to be correctly connected. I would like to know how i can be sure that the zif connector is connected? If it not connected, how can i connect it?

To make sure that your ribbon cable is seated, first gently flip up the locking tab on the backside of the ZIF connector (opposite from the cable). Insert the cable as far as you can, and while holding it in place, push the locking tab back down into place. Be patient and never use too much force, because a broken ZIF connector could be the difference between a fixed computer and a giant paperweight.
