Are DC-in boards cross-compatible for G4 PowerBooks A1095 and A1106?

I have a 1.67 GHz G4 PowerBook (model 1106) with some upgrades installed (SSD, extra RAM). The DC power connector has gotten very flaky. The machine will charge, but only if you fiddle with the power adapter connection a lot. If it gets jostled at all, the orange or green LED will go off and it will stop charging.
I also have an older G4 PowerBook, model A1095, that I have been keeping around just for parts. It charges fine. Can I remove the DC in/sound board from it and install it in the model 1106 machine? Are they compatible?
