Screen not working correctly after replacement

I just replaced my screen. Everything was done and it looked fine but when i went to turn it on, the screen would light up but it is just a dark grey screen. it responds when i plug it into itunes but nothing will be displayed on the screen. I reconnected all of the connections at least three times and can not get it to work.
