after repair, the phone keeps saying connect to itunes
I have recently repaired my Iphone 4 (the home button)
after putting all the parts together, the phone seemed to work fine for about 2 days.
my phone would turn off all of a sudden and when i turn it back on, it says "connect to itunes"
i ignored it at first and checked it like 10 minutes later, and it was fine again.
but not the same thing is happening again and the phone is stuck at "connect to itunes" screen.
most importantly, the phone wouldn't even turn on unless it's connected to the charger.

"the phone wouldn't even turn on unless it's connected to the charger." It might be because of a bad battery, bad battery connection. Also, check the dock connector for any lint, corrosion or visible damage. Try a different cable, as well as a different USB port, also try to charge from am AC adapter and see if that makes a difference. Personally, I'd start with a new battery.
