My phone would not charge, and battery connector came off board

History

So one night I came home to my iphone deciding not to charge, would not recognize being plugged in to anything, I replaced the dock connector and still had no luck, I double checked every connection.

I went to swap out the battery with a spare I had, and lo and behold, the battery connector on the board came off. Kind of at a loss for words/ideas, this is actually the second time I've seen this happen on an iPhone 4.

Looking for input/ideas, not really sure if its viable to reconnect it.

Figured I'd post an update on this, I decided to just gun it and try and just resolder the thing, and managed to get it seemingly well enough that it now recognizes the battery is plugged in and will turn on no problem, but the device still will not charge.

Sounds like the one of your circuits is not complete due to an incomplete solder joint. We see these all of the time and when we repair them and take out the 'repaired' connector many times the solder needs to be reworked, especially where it connects into the trace.
