Why wont my iPhone turn on?

my iphone just suddenly cut out yesterday evening made a crackling sound then the screen went blue/black when i removed the the back screen could see that the white lcd light for the screen around the battery was still on so i held power button down too turned it off. then tried turning it on all i was getting was the apple logo then it would cut out now im getting nothing thought it could be water damage but none of the sensors have been activated, any ideas would be much appreciated?
Does it still charge (try a wall charger)? Does your computer still recognize it? Have you tried DFU mode yet? What makes you think that it "could be water damage"?

no it doesnt do anything, what is dfu? bcoz it happend just after i had it my bathroom plus a week or so before my home button started too play up then finally didnt work all together so was using the one that you can have on your screen
