iPod classic 120GB can not start up with click noise

History

My ipod classic 120GB worked well before. However after I connected it with my computer with itune, it can not be recognized as ipod and harddrive.

Since then, ipod classic 120GB doesn't work any more. It can not start up with "click click" noise.

Can it be fixed? thanks in advance.

jameslismile, the "click,click,click" noise is mosdt likely caused by either stuck or bad heads. You could try and tap (slap) your iPod hard against your hands to see if it frees up the stuck drive. Ultimately I suggest a new hard drive.
