MacBookPro does not power up on AC power or battery

MacBookPro does not power up on AC power or battery after it has been on before. I have to unplug the battery and the power adapter and then wait a couple mins, then plug in AC adapter and unit power ups and loads OS with out issues. I then can plug in (new one just bought) battery and it sees, charges, and runs off battery. Once the unit is powered off, it will not respond with the battery plugged in and or AC adapter left plugged in. The green light on the charger remains on when powered off and I've tried 3 known good adapters.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Are you using 85 watt power adapters? Have you tried an SMC reset?

by

yes to both - it seems to me that once it has power and is turned on that it needs to have no power connected to reset something internal. It never powers on with the battery plugged in, but when the battery is unplugged and the adapter is used, it will power on and stay on forever or until it is shutdown.

eh I reviewed those models as work on that if he will not run on battery and has problems such as off, or sometimes turn may be due to the topcase in certain MacBook models I presented the problem and the solution was changing topcase (the piece unibody)
