iPhone 4s turns off at 20%

History

My Verizon iPhone 4s shuts off as in the battery is dead at 20% I have tried running it from 100% down to 20% when it shuts off, charge it fully, and run it down until it shuts off again, but my battery is out of calibration Any suggestions on fixing it? Time for a new battery?

try this before you change your battery it worked for me ....go to settings tap general ,tap reset, tap reset all settings ...note this only resets the settings does not erase apps ,purchased apps photos or contacts ...it worked for me ...
