iPhone is working, but the screen is black?

So. I my iPhone 4 slipped out of my pocket, and fell int the toilet. Was in there for a out 3 seconds. I got it out, took the back off, wiped away the water I could see then sat it in rice for 3 days.

After charging it up, it worked perfectly, other than losing the ability to vibrate (given the phone still worked, I didn't care). It was working for about a day, then I turned the brightness down and this must've triggered something, and the screen just went black.

The phone is still working, as I could hear texts coming through, and phone calls, and I could still swipe the bottom of the screen and hear the phone unlock. Just have a black screen.

  • Note. I used the reset function, and the screen lit up with the Apple logo, so the screen seems fine.. This stayed there for about a minute, then the screen went black again (as it returned to the lock screen or home screen, I can only assume). The phone then died, I recharged it, but it's no longer displaying the Apple symbol when I reset.

Any options on what to do? I haven't tried anything to fix it thus far (happened last night) as I'm not 100% confident in what to actually do. I can see one water damage sensor that has turned pink. The others are all still white.

Please help.. I need to see my phone!
