My PC doesn't recognize my iPod Classic anymore

My Ipod can read a music but when I connect it to my PC, Itunes doesn't recognize it.

I can't add anything anymore

Is this a new problem? Has it worked before? did anything happen to your iPod? What have you tried so far? Have you checked your cable, tried a different USB port? A different computer?
