Put in a new power and sensor cable as outlined here:

Everything is working great except for the proximity sensor. The screen is not turning off when I put the phone to my ear.

The weird part is I can listen to voice mail. I.E. a voice mail will not start playing until you put the phone to your ear. When I put the phone to my ear the voice mail does start to play but the screen does not turn off.

I checked my old cable for the filter and it did not have one. The new one did not have one either. The proximity sensor worked just great before I performed the fix on the lock button.

Has anyone else had problems with this or have any idea on what might be wrong?
