Replaced shattered screen, now screen is very bright and whited out?

History

Replaced the iPhone 4 screen. Touch inputs work perfectly, color of screen is very whited out but still readable and workable. Color is still there just overshadowed by the bright whiteness. Screen issue or repair issue?

Sometimes when you order a glass, it comes with a small film on the back of the reflector on the LCD to protect it. Sometimes they're usually white, making the LCD appear to have a bright white behind it.
