Why is my phone working but screens blank
i replaced my iphone 4 screen and when i went to turn it on the screens back and the touch doesnt work either, but i can still recieve calls but cant see whos calling or answer the calls

I would open it back up and check to make sure the LCD and digitizer connectors are connected properly and that the ribbon cables aren't damaged or folded between the mid plate and screen assembly. While it's open also inspect the mainboard connectors for damage.
i checked it all out looks fine i put old screen back in it and its still the same, ive reset it and also restored it. what else could it be?
It sounds like it could be a faulty display assembly. See if you can get a replacement part under warranty from wherever you purchased the original part from. If you get another screen assembly and it doesn't work too then I would assume that the mainboard is at fault.
i put another rand new screen on it, but my phone works well i still recieve calls and messages it has a little bit of light in the screen but thats all
If you installed another new replacement screen assembly and experienced the same results then unfortunately it looks like it's a problem with the mainboard. As a last resort you could take it to a good quality iPhone repair shop so that they can have a proper look at it. Otherwise it looks like replacing the mainboard may be your only option. If the problem is a dim screen, all you have to do is change the backlight coil, backlight IC, or backlight fuse on the mother board.
Chances are, one of those chips got shorted so current is not sending enough power to your LCD for the back light.
Takes a little soldering skills but its fairly easy to do. I run a repair business iPhoneOnCall for repairs but if you want to do it yourself then I recommend CyberDocLLC. They specialize in backlight repairs.
