Phone wet. Phone works, screen does not

The top of my iPhone 4S got wet and the camera flash stayed constantly on for a while. I out the phone in rice for a good while. I tried later to use the phone but the screen would not turn on. Although when I use Siri, it still calls and the speaker works. When I touch to hang up or power off, I can still use the touch screen. I'm just unable to see anything on the blank screen. I've tried resetting, but it has not worked. Is there anything I can do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

oh, i suppose you have the same problem as this guy

dropped in water. Black screen except in sunlite. touch screen works

try under sunlight, if you can see something, then the same as above one, if not then your LCD is totally damage. but whatever it is partly or totally damaged, all you need to do is replace a LCD.

Hope this can help you. please vote if you like my answer, thank you!

Ron, what is important here is to remember that you need to clean your phone properly. After any exposure to liquid, you are running the risk of corrosion damage/failure if you do not clean it up. Use these guides to work on your phone. Follow this guide to clean your phone. After that, replace the battery and reevaluate for any damage. It is possible that your display needs to be replaced, but do realize that this phone also requires a coil and IC's for the backlight. Hope this helps, good luck.

If you have warming zone in your oven put a cunductor on it like metal then put your iphone on top. Set the temp. on Hi and in a matter of time it will be ready and it might say that your iphone is to hot and it needs to cool down. to cool down DO NOT put it in the refregerator or the freezer just lay it down some were with a steady temp. HINT: when you put your iphone down on the conductor to heat always check your iphone every 2 minutes untill it works. (thank you reading hope this helped you like with other people!)
