screen has blue tint from certain angles after replaced

I have just replaced my iphone 4 GSM screen which I purchased from Ifixit.com and for some reason, the screen has a blue-ish tint when looking from an angle. Is the screen not the same as the original, or did I not install a cable etc. correctly or all the way? Please let me know. Thank you!

Also, looks like there is a small deep dot like a spec of dirt on the screen or beneath the screen...don't think it is a dead pixel? Any ideas? Thanks!
