What is the difference between iPhone 4 and 4S panels?

Hello. I have a very important question (at least for me, it is)... Just bought a black iphone 4 (gsm) and wanted to ceonvert it to white so I ordered a white front pannel with lcd, touch and digitizer. The problem is that, due to lack of attention, the one I bought is for the 4S!!!! Are they compatible and should I install it on my iphone 4? Thanks, and I admire your work!

Hi Radu,

Technicaly there is no difference between them, but their plastis contours doesn't match together so you can't mount your part unless you have change the contour.

There technically is a difference in the parts, actually. The mounting tabs are different for the different phones, and are not interchangeable. There's nothing you can change yourself, short of fabricating your own mounting clips.
