Alot of times when I am playing my gamecube it works just fine, but after playing a while it shuts down with the music still playing and a disc read error displayed on the screen. There is not specific amount of time that it goes off it just seems to randomly do it. This problem happens on all games.

When trying to figure out the problem, I turned on my gamecube with a newly resurfaced game and left it on pretty much all day. When I came home I noticed the game was still running like it should. I then walked around for a couple of minutes and then it finally shut off on me.

Another instance was when I was trying it out on Legend of Zelda Windwaker. At a boss fight it plays normally like it should again, but then when I i hurt the boss it shuts down immediately.

I'm probably giving you useless information, but the more information the better.
