Only turns on when connected to computer

History

I have an iPhone 4 that the screen only lights up to the logo when I plug it into my Mac mini,I tryst restoring it but iTunes says it can't be and I tried to get tiny umbrella to get it out of recovery but doesn't help. I changed the Charging port but same problem arises.

this is a problem of Battery

Did you try to restore it in DFU mode? If that does not work, please try replacing the battery.

A corrupt battery might prohibit it from booting/installing.

Definitely a battery problem, needs to be replaced most likely water damaged. the sooner you replace it as it can ruin the motherboard

So I put in an eBay bought battery and it gets me to where I can put in a pass code,yet when I unplug it from the wall charge it shuts off yet battery icon says 100%
