Unpacking a replacement MATT screen
The replacement matt screen I received appears to have protective cover over the face. However, it is tight to the face surface and very carefully (almost precisely) taped on all edges with cutouts at the connection points; enough so that I'm concerned that I may have received a glossy screen, not the matt screen I ordered. Am I being overly cautious and I should go ahead and remove the tape and get on with the repair?

got it; thanks. BTW, the protective cover over the screen is so perfectly and sized that it looks like it is under the edge tape. I have the right part, now on to the repair. Any suggestions on lifting the ultra thin aluminum bezel without boogering it up?
