iPhone 3G will not start after disassembly

First I replaced the battery in my 3Gs, then it worked although the power button didn't.

Then I tried to disassemble it again, including "taking a look" of the power button. After this the screen is black, and the only sign of life is when I connect it to the computer it "plings" and Itunes starts syncronize.
