iPhone wont charge after home button replacement

I disassembled my iPhone to change the home button. Now when I plug in my phone the charging indicator comes on but my phone does not charge whatsoever. My phone however is recognized by iTunes so I'm not too sure if it might be the usb port or the battery. Yes, I have tried to use multiple charging devices. Thanks.
