How Can I fix the accelerometer?

History

My accelerometer does not work anymore. I donwloaded some apps and just show "0". Soo, how can I fix it if is possible.

Have you tried to reset/restore your phone?

The accelerometer is a chip soldered to the main board in all phones.

The only easy way to fix it is to replace the main board but it can be expensive.

But if you have the part its possible to do.

The Nexus S uses the InvenSense MPU-6050 three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer. It is available at places like this. you can get the datasheet from here. The datasheet will also explain the mounting of the IC as well as reflow parameters.
