No power after screen replacement

i cant get any power either. did the screen replacement step by step, i was careful with the flex cable got the digitizer connected started putting it back together than plugged it in to my PC and no recognition at all. As far as i can tell the cable is fine no tears or anything. as i started taking it apart and lifted the logic board (still plugged into PC) i got the chime/recogniti
is it possible that somewhere under the logic board the flex cable tore? it shouldn't be the charging port right?
please anyone have an answer?
