Metal Frame is scratched

Samsung Galaxy S3, fell to the ground and the metal rim got scratched, but the glass remained intact.
It is possible change only the metal frame?

I have the same question. I saw the metal frame on ebay and I think it's possible. Now I'm searching online some videos for touch replacing because this must be removed for replacing the frame. But i'm not sure.
