Activation after battery replacement

I decided to replace the battery cause it was draining very quickly. I bought a new one at a chinese webstore.
So I replaced it and run into some problems) Then I turn my device on it requires a new activation ispite of the fact that I activated it when I used my phone for the first time. So I dont want to do that cause I suppose I could lose all my info and apps. Am I right?) When I use my old battery it works ok but not long)
