Faceplate holding problem with clipping back

Hi everyone,
As you know, there are two circular holes at the left side of the game boy micro that allow to put off the faceplate.
These two holes allow to push some little, fragile, plastic chunks and free the faceplate.
My problem is that these plastic chunks are broken, so I wondered if anybody has an idea to repair this.
For the time being, I made a quick and dirty repair with double face duct tape. It is far from being perfect, but it does the job (it will budge a bit through) :)
