Why is LCD screen very dim/not working properly after digitizer repair
Just replaced cracked digitizer on an HTC evo 4g for sprint. Used heat gun to remove original cracked screen. Now upon reinstalling all of the components, the LCD screen is very dim and not working properly.. any advice?
Should I assume its the LCD screen and just purcjase a new one or could it be the entire logic board? I took it apart again to make sure the flex was properly installed, and it was.

Check the lcd connection. I have seen this happen on ipads before.
I did, and it was properly installed. since then I purchased a new LCD and it did in fact work, unfortunately the one they sent me had a defect with vertical lines on the screen. I must have damaged the lcd screen by either using the heat gun or accidently putting pressure on it. Thanks for answering
