MacBook Pro 15": Reading removed Hard drive with other computer?

Recently, I removed an internal HD from my MacBook Pro 15 and replaced the unit with a new one, as my grandkids needed a computer for home/schoolwork.

Problem is I now need some data stored on that drive! Any thoughts or devices that I can purchase or perhaps use the USB with a "funky" connection to that drive to gain access to that data?

You have no idea..... so many thanks!
