*Buying the laptop a year later is not acceptable, i need it for work now.

MacBook Unibody Model A1278: iSight camera and optical drive stopped working, are they related?

Recently my iSight camera randomly stopped working. Green light comes on, but no picture shows on the screen. About 2 weeks later my optical drive stopped working properly. It won't read CD/DVD's, when it tries it ejects them right away.

First time I noticed my disc drive acting up was when I was trying to burn a CD. It got almost all the way through the writing process and ejected the disc and sited a disc error. Do you think these issues may be related? Software v. Hardware problems?

MacBook Pro 13": Where can I find replacement parts for camera?

I have a 13' Macbook Pro and the camera goes in and out while using Skype. This started happening after I dropped the laptop, but everything else seems to be working fine. I'm not sure if it's the camera, or the actual camera board. Either way, I can't seem to find the replacement parts anywhere. I've found multiple sights with parts for the Macbook, but not the Pro. Any help or suggestions?

MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009: Multiple Issues - Microphone, Camera, & Wifi

Hey guys. Thanks for taking a look and helping me out in advance.

I am having some issues with my MacBook Pro, 13" Unibody (2009 Model - MacbookPro5,5). The computer is functioning fine after a recent light coffee spill. These issues include: "No Airport Card installed", internal microphone not working, and the built-in iSight not recognized. I have taken the device apart multiple times, and the Airport card looks like it is in mint shape. I am not sure, I think it may be a cabling issue... I don't know if they are all connected or what. Any ideas on how I can get this resolved? Think it could be an issue with the logic board itself? Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks again!

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2012: Isight not detected/functioning after lcd water damage

I've bought an Macbook Pro with a lcd with water damage.

Dont worry I've checked the logic board and al the indicators are still white. Before changing the LCD I wanted to test the Isight camera but the macbook said Isight camera not detected. It also did't show up in the hardware list. Should I change the Isight camera or the cable to the camera?
