iPhone 4: iPhone 4 doesn't charge, but loud speaker works?

Hello, I helped my sister fix her iPhone 4, as it showed the "Not Optimized for this Device" even though nothing was plugged into the dock. It turned out there was corrosion, so I replaced the dock with a new one. Everything went well, everything worked until I tried to charge it and nothing happened! :o The loud speaker, however, still works, though! What could be the problem? Thanks :)

Xbox 360: Sound but no picture?...

Hi

I havent seen this one crop up in any threads so far. Sometimes my XBOX 360 starts up with only sound (no picture). One green light on console, no reds.

Changing cables doesnt make any difference. Checked for loose cable connections in back of TV and XBOX and all fine. I've used th etowel trick about 4 times now to 'reset' the XBOX and this works but it now a matter of days before the same problem arises, and I dont want to keep diong th etowel trick in case it makes matters worse.

Will re-doing the Heatsinks with Thermal compound be a worthwhile venture for this problem?

Thanks in advance for any useful advice...

iPhone 4 Verizon: Proximity Sensor not working after screen replacement?

I've repaired hundreds of iphone 4 screens, and for AT&T 4's I always cut a hole in a small piece of electrical tape and place it in front of the proximity sensor when replacing a screen. This method always works for me, but with verizon iphone 4, there is already a foam insert around the prox sensor. The foam seems to do the same thing as the electrical tape I would insert into an AT&T iphone 4. Despite this foam insert, I've noticed that every once in a while the prox sensor won't work after installation of a new screen. iPhone 4s has a similar foam insert, but I've never had a problem with iphone 4S prox sensors. Does anyone know why the verizon phones are so faulty? Should I just rip the foam insert out of the phone and simply stick some electrical tape with a hole around the prox sensor like with the AT&T phones? Any insight would be great.

Nexus 7: How to remove and install the digitizer?

I have been doing research on how to remove the digitizer from the nexus 7. Although i haven't yielded any results. I had read through some threads, to find that i should by the lcd/digitizer combo to avoid the hassle. But i don't have the money to buy the combo, only the digitizer. So my question is, how do you remove and install the digitizer from the nexus 7 without breaking the lcd or any other components. Some users have said that they've done this succesfully, so if someone could put together a tutorial on how to do it, that would be awesome!
