MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Early 2011: OS unresponsive, after hard restart, system chime, screen black

After the OS (Mountain Lion) been a bit dodgy for some time, it went unresponsive and I had to make a hard shut down. When restart again, the system chime comes, the screen lits up, but black and nothing more happens...

I've had issues with the fans going on very high rpm quiet often some months back.

Is it the logic board which has gone melt down?

Mac Mini Model A1283: When connected to tv apple logo shows up then screen goes black

So i bought a mac mini off ebay last week. I've got it connected to my computer via mini display port, and i'm using my tv as the monitor (via hdmi). So what happens when i turn the computer it shows the boot screen, and makes the startup sound.. then it shows the apple symbol for about 45 seconds, the screen goes blue, and then to black.. I have tried holding down c, at boot, i've also tried shift, and also p+r+cmd+ctrl and still no luck. I've tried everything that I can think of. I have no idea why it's doing this. Any help appreciated.

Hi. I think something bad has just happened to my Mac Mini.

I was playing cs:go from Bootcamp, and then wanted to reboot to OSX. I closed everything and chose "Reboot in Mac OS X". It was fine until computer restarted at Apple logo and didn't display anything at all.

I hear startup chime.

I hear cooler spinning.

I hear hard-drive spinning.

I see power indicator.

USB ports aren't working as far as i know.

No video output.

I've tried SMC/PMU resets, they didn't help.

Acer Aspire One ZG5: Why can't I flash bios with black screen of death?

Black screen of death...bios trick not working for me. I see many others had this problem. But i never see a fix for the people that arent able to flash bios? The little battery inside is bad maybe? What all can it be? External display does not work either....please someone find a fix for me!
