iMac Intel 24" EMC 2134 and 2211: How much memory possible for my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo?

i need to upgrade the memory of my Apple iMac "Core 2 Duo" 2.4 24-Inch Identifiers: Mid-2007 - 24" - MA878LL - iMac7,1 - A1225 - 2134. currently i have 2x2GB RAM which doesn´t do anymore.
MacBook Pro 4.1 15" (A1260 - Non Unibody): 8Gigs of ram working or not?

Hello,

My question related to the pre unibody macbook pro's (the 4.1, which is the last of the non-unibody macbook pro's) is if it is possible to stack 8 Gigabytes of ram in it. Currently I have placed an SSD in it and have 4GB of ram. With an upgrade to 8GB I think it should be able to "keep up" for the next couple of years for me. And since memory is much cheaper (even though it is DDR2) than the time I chose to upgrade to four I wanted to know if it was possible.

Back "then" I found multiple topics stating that only 6 gigabytes of ram was possible. However since then Apple seems to have release a new firmware update which made is possible for some Macbook Pro's.

One topic I could find regarding this question is: http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/41766...

Even though some people with 8GB of ram in their MBP have some odd issues (overheating, being slower than before). I was wondering if this would be still the case, also when you are running Lion? Because the persons who had the problem there were running Snow Leopard.

I hope someone can clarify this. I really would like to have the 8GB of ram so my MBP wil be really snappy again even when running virtual machine's on it.

MacBook Unibody Model A1342: Why 8GB RAM upgrade failed? (Computer sees only 4GB)

Hi!

So I've decided to put 8GB RAM instead of 2GB available on start in my Macbook Mid-2010 A1342 (White). After reading this page: http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/16998...

as one user suggested it should work I put:

2x Kingston 4GB SODIMM KVR1066D3S7/4G, rated 1066MHz into My MacBook. It sees only 4GB after boot. Bank 1 is filled and Bank 0 is empty. I checked each RAM separately in the bottom bank and it works. In upper bank it gives just beeps. No clue what went wrong - I see lots of stuff that people are capable of making A1342 8GB RAM machine.

Please help me!

Regards,

Andy

MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260: Can my early 2008 MPB support 8 GB of memory under Lion?

Hi, I found on Yahoo a 4 GB memory module compatible with my early 2008 MBP ( check http://www.amazon.com/Komputerbay-DDR2-S... ).

Can I put 2 of these modules in my MBP running Lion OS X and get 8 GB of RAM in my machine ? Or is it limited to 6 GB ? Many thanks

iPod Touch 3rd Generation: Which digitizer should I choose to fix an iPod 3g 8gb?

Hello guys!

Have a sort of a problem here, a friend of mine asked to replace his broken glass, but im not sure what should i replace it with! I see everywhere that 3g digitizer for 32gb & 64gb doesnt fit the 8gb model, the even put it in the discription on ebay! I also saw posts saying that 3g uses the 2g digitizers, but then again there are posts contradicting this information, saying that the connectors are different! Im kinda lost...

Is 8gb model standalone product? Does it use a unique type of the digitizer?

Please help! Thank you!

MacBook Pro 15": RAM Upgrade - CPU Panic

Hello,

I own a MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2010. Currently I have 4GB of RAM and I wanted to upgrade them to 8GB. So, I bought these:

2 x Corsair 4GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module - CM3X4GSD1066

Corsair - Memory - 4 GB - SO DIMM 204-pin - DDR3 - 1066 MHz / PC3-8500 - CL7 - unbuffered - non-ECC

I easily installed them on my MacBook Pro but on the boot I receive errors like "CPU Panic" and other "Non-sense" error codes :)

Are these products not compatible with my MacBook Pro (although the specifications should work) or am I doing something wrong here?
