Why does my camera keep flashing access when I turn it on.

when i turn on my camera it keeps flashing access then says turn off and on and the little button next to the LCD screen is orange. I must tell you that i had my camera in a sand pit with me. It has been blown with an air compressor to blow any sand particles and the lens is now able to move in and out but it is still saying "access, turn off and on" ???
