Why my batery charge but wont turn on without ac adapter?

| hi i have a mb pro that i can power on only with the cable cord but no only a batery. i try smc reset i clean the conector and the port of the batery the pins are in good condition and also i bought a new batery and it can charge but im still no power on only batery just whit the ac adapter, the batery indicator from my left can blink only with the ac adapter but whiout the ac dont work and that happens sudenly and i want help please thanks. |

| thanks i try everithing and no luck another help?? also i upgrade to mountain lion and i see now in the battery says service battery with and sing or something but no luck |
