Water Damaged. Dry now but screen is shot.

Text:

Hey there guys. I left my iPhone is my pants pocket by accident before putting them in the washer. byt the time I realized it, it was too late. It was only in there a few minutes (detergent hadnt even mixed in yet) But when I got to it, the screen was slowing fading to black.

I immediately placed it in a bag of rice and then ordered the ifixit "Thirsty Bag" All in all I let it dry out for about 60 hours. Everything is working fine (speakers, mic, phone) EXCEPT the screen is faded and flickering.

At first the screen wouldnt come on AT ALL but after a while it just popped in. At first it was a grayish color but now its got a red tint to it and of course it has a constant flicker.

My question is, will taking it apart and cleaning the logic board fix this? or do I need a new dispay entirely??

There are local places here that can fix it but I want to get some advice first before listening to them tell me what it is I need to pay for lol Thanks guys!
