Title:
iPod wont recognize the computer nor will it turn on after disassemble
Text:
I have an ipod touch 4gen 8g. I recently replaced the screen because it was cracked. I know that the screen i just put in works. When i attached the screen it did not turn on nor does does the computer recognize it or charge it. I then doubled checked all the connections, still the same. So then i took that screen off and put the cracked screen back on and then that screen did'nt work either. Then I thought that maybe the battery somehow suddenly died. So i got the Multimeter out and checked, and the battery was alive.
Before I started I might have left the ipod on before i began disassembling it, would that be the problem?
I also have another ipod with the exact same problem. Do you know what the problem is, and can it be fixed. Or is there a software or something. Thanks
