Continually power cycles (reboots) but will charge

I just got a used MOTOKRZR K1M phone, but I read the description too late that it keeps power cycling for no apparent reason. The battery does charge, but within 1-2 seconds of powering up, it reboots... and reboots... and reboots...

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I checked out the guides provided, but nothing pointed me in the right direction.
