Need replacement Suprdrive for DVR-K06

I can find a few old '''DVR-K06''' on eBay but I am worry they may not have much life left in them. So is there newer compatible models will work as '''replacement''' for this iMac?

I did some research but I just don't know enough to know what to look for such as compatible firmware etc.

So any help would be greatly appreciated. thx!
