Why don't games load?

I have the same problem my dsi. My dsi wont load games but it comes up on the menu and I cant play them and it work on other dsi. I try cleaning the gold contacts of the game and the DSi and I tryed to see if thier was a problem with the Wifi Board and I try open the back and it looks ok and my dsi still dont work. I got the dsi a year and a half ago. I love my dsi and I am very upset that the games does not work. I went into the shop I brought it from and they said it will cost 80 euro to get fixed so i was anger because i payed 180 to buy it a year and a half ago and now I have to pay another 80 euro. Can any body help me or give me advice please. Thank you.
