Should I remove SSD in my situation?

Hi there.

I want replace my broken screen and first of all I should remove the display. So I stopped at this step: [guide|6307|page=2] cause I have broken thread of screw. Its bad I know but I do not want replace SSD. So my question: Can I continue this guide without remove of SSD?
