| Few months ago my MBP display went totally black - recently I've finally bouhgt new LCD screen (LP154WP2-TLA2), replaced it and the screen was all covered with black vertical stripes, approx. 1 pixel width (on the external display everything is perfect). |
| I found out that there is a recall for nvidia graphics card, but apple said that "the card is OK - it must be LCD failure". Right now I am confused, because the display is brand new (as mentioned above), so the problem should be somwhere else. Have anyone faced this kind of problem? If display signal cable was damaged could there be such effect as described? |
