symptoms : my old macbook pro stop to work after a hard day of work it was hot as !!@! and when i tried to turn it ON i heard the boooom from apple boot sound and then no screens ... the screens remain black. i thought it was a graphic card pb as it wasn't under warranty i bought a new one.
as i have the opportunity to have the same logic board fo free i decided to swap it.
in attach there is a picture of the NVIDIA chipset i think it is dead as there is a bubble sign on it can you confirm from this picture that the problem is really the graphic card that burned ?
if yes i will do the swap if not i will put everything to the garbage.
thx by advance for your answer!!!
